On Friday, 17 September, the last week of Term 3, Year 10 students who expressed an interest in their SET Plan/Subject selection appointment were invited to an engineering initiative run by EIC Activities.

EIC Activities is a CIMIC Group’s engineering and technical services business. They were keen to connect with students that are considering a university degree in Engineering.  Over an informal lunch, Julie, Jovan and Graham, all engineers, gave a presentation to students about their work and their background and engaged in a one-on-one discussion with students about their future career plans.

Students saw photos of the projects EIC Activities have been involved in, experienced Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.  There will be opportunities for work experience and mentoring as students’ express interest.
