In the Senior School, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide range of activities beyond the classroom walls. These both shape who they are as young men and women as well as giving them the skills and knowledge to take them beyond Year 12.

We have opportunities for students to travel to Vanuatu and New York on service trips, spend eight weeks on exchange in Japan, travel to Europe as part of the History trip, complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award on the Kepler Track in New Zealand as well as participate in interstate Arts and Volleyball trips.
Students may choose to join choirs, bands, ensembles and have the opportunity to be part of the musical and play.

Our students proudly represent the College in debating, mooting, sporting teams and numerous other groups.

Co-curricular events play an important part in creating a holistic education for students in the Senior School.

Sport plays a significant role in the holistic formation of students at Redlands College. Through participation in the competitive and recreational sports offered, students will advance their sport-specific skills, enhance their individual fitness, improve their personal wellbeing and develop an increased sense of belonging. Active engagement with teachers, specialist coaches and peers in class, at training and at competitions will also contribute to the development of transferable life skills such as goal setting, discipline, resilience, and how to cooperate as a team member. Sport at Redland’s College is about pursuing sporting success and individual excellence, equally.

Other Activities

Redlands College Senior School also offers opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities, such as RIZN (student led Christian worship group), The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Student Prayer/Bible Study Groups, Musicals and Plays, Debating and College Magazine.
