Redlands College has been intentionally building a Christ-centred learning community of excellence for over 35 years. As a Prep to Year 12 co-educational learning community located in the beautiful Bayside region of Brisbane, we seek to form and educate students to be active participants in God’s mission and His world. Our holistic College curriculum incorporates academics, vocational education, creative arts, performance music, sport, outdoor education and Christian character development, and is provided by passionate staff committed to inspiring the learning journey of all students.
We seek teachers who display a passion for their vocation, a willingness to continue their professional development and an aptitude for fostering academic extension in their students. Our teachers participate in professional development throughout the year to ensure their knowledge and pedagogy is current and credible. A teacher’s responsibility in education today is more than just delivering classroom learning; it is ensuring that students feel safe, supported and guided in their mental health and that life skills are nurtured and developed. To this end, and because of our Christian ethos, pastoral care and student wellbeing has a large emphasis in our day-to-day College life.
Redlands College strives to be an employer of choice, providing competitive benefits to staff within a culture focussed on collaboration, innovation and creativity. All staff are required to be practising Christians, who are able to actively express the College’s Christian faith.
"Easily the best school I've worked at. The staff are like family, the students are second to none, the parents are seen as partners to the learning and the ethos is exactly what I would expect from a Christian school."
