Free Training:

Career Start

Career Start supports Queensland job seekers to start their career, or move into more skilled roles or full-time employment.

You can participate in either a general training pathway, or an employment-based apprenticeship or traineeship pathway. You’ll receive reduced-cost entry-level training aligned to the skill outcomes required by industry.

Career Boost 

This is a Queensland Government-funded program that helps people get subsidised training (like a Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher apprenticeship) so they can gain better skills, advance their job opportunities, or move into further study.

Fee Free TAFE Courses 

It’s a Queensland Government program that lets eligible people study certain TAFE courses without having to pay tuition fees.

Free Apprenticeships for under 25s

The Queensland government is supporting young Queenslanders up to the age of 25 by providing access to fully subsidised training across a range of priority apprenticeship or traineeship qualifications.

  • 15 days over 3 months = $95.95
  • 30 days over 6 months = $101.94
  • 30 days over 12 months = $107.94
  • 60 days over 12 months = $122.93

Labour intensive – onsite:

  • 15 days over 3 months = $127.12
  • 30 days over 6 months = $164.89
  • 30 days over 12 months = $202.66
  • 60 days over 12 months = $236.83
