On Thursday 22 July, 70 of our students from years 7-12 competed in the CSSAQ Volleyball competition. This was the first of many years that Redlands has opted to be a part of the event with the intention to compete against other reputable Christian schools.

The competition consisted of 3 different age groups – Senior, yr 11-12, Intermediate, yr 9 – 10 and Junior, yr 7-8. Out of all 6 groups Redlands College managed to place 1st in EVERY DIVISION and take home GOLD in EVERY category, a clean sweep!

The results for the event follows:

Seniors boys – Year 11 – Gold

Senior Girls – Year 12 – Gold

Intermediate Boys – Year 10 – Gold

Intermediate Girls – Year 9 – Gold

Junior Boys – Year 8 – Gold

Junior Girls – Year 8 – Gold.

Overall the day was a great success and really makes a statement about how hard the staff, coaches, and students are working to build the reputation Redlands has. I commend the effort of the students and look forward to the bigger and better things to come!
