Kylan (Year 12) competed at the National SSA U18 Baseball Championship for Queensland in Blacktown NSW last week.
The tournament ran from 15 Monday until 20 Saturday. Each State in Australia played each other twice on the days, with QLD boys up against NSW in the Grand Final on Saturday. QLD was down 4 -0 in the 4th inning but dug deep to win 8-6!
Kylan played and pitched well to help cement the win for QLD. Our State hadn’t won the Trophy for 15 years.
He was named most valuable player in the Grand Final game and also was one of 12 boys selected across each Australia State for the All Australian Baseball 18 years and under Team.
