Service As Mission

Mission trips at Redlands College are not just about overseas or regional travel and new experiences – as exciting and enjoyable as that is. Redlands College Mission trips are essentially about character and leadership development and enabling students and staff to practically ‘live out’ our mission equipping our students to make a positive impact on the world around them.
Serving is at the heart of Redlands College and we are pleased to offer Senior School Students and Alumni (with availability) the opportunity to join an overseas Mission or Ministry Trip in 2021:

Mission Trips

Senior school students have an opportunity to participate in Mission trips to Vanuatu, Fiji, Cambodia and the USA. These trips build on our Christ-centred learning and focus on character and leadership development and enabling students and staff to ‘live out’ our College mission. Ultimately, they equip our students to make a positive impact on the world around them and ‘be the difference’.

Project Vila

Redlands College is excited to offer Project Vila to all Year 9s as part of our Year level camps program. This immersion residential service program is the capstone experience for Middle School. An international experience which will prepare students to be global citizens, with an opportunity for service, Christian formation and personal reflection.

All Year 9 students undertake a two week immersion trip to Vanuatu where they live and work in a local community and undertake mission work such as helping to build, farm, cook or general help.

Missions & Fundraising

Redlands College values providing its students with the opportunity of putting into practice Christ-centred living.  By supporting various charities and providing opportunities for mission trips each year, we are able to instil the joy of giving and caring for others while helping those less fortunate than ourselves.

'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
