On Wednesday the Year 8s took part in a Medieval History incursion run by the wonderful staff of Abbey Museum. Students learned about knights and chivalry (and even got to try out some armour and weapons!), practised their archery skills, and enjoyed a variety of games such as kubb, skittles and operating a trebuchet. These activities helped them to gain a greater understanding of Medieval culture and customs.
