On Thursday, the 2nd of September, 38 students from Years 5 and 6 competed in Volleyball Queensland’s Primary Schools Cup.

The day was full of fun, laughter and lots of great opportunities for students to learn about volleyball and team cohesion. Teams pursued through the highs and lows of volleyball, with one team winning a bronze medal. We hope the players had as much fun as we did and that they will be back again next year for another great tournament.

A special thank you to Brooke Marchant, Tegan Hamilton, Nathanael Stengert and Tyler Collins for their willingness to coach the younger, less experienced players. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

Our overall result placed us third out of 21 Schools. Great job, everyone.
