SRC Shave for a Cure

Students and staff from the Middle and Senior School have successfully raised over $11,000 for the World’s Greatest Shave, a fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Leukemia Foundation. The event was marked by a vibrant atmosphere at College Heart, filled with colourful hairspray, buzz cuts, trims, shaves, and even waxing.
Max Kemp (Year 5) exemplified the passion and enthusiasm for the event by having a full head shave to honour a cousin who recently lost the battle with cancer. Max was also our leading fundraiser, with well over $2,000 in sponsorships. It was a significant moment for Max, who had his shave in front of all his Junior School peers at the Athletics Carnival with his uncle helping.
