September Holidays Cooking Classes with Kids Rock the Kitchen
Hi everyone,
The September school holidays are almost here, which means it’s time for another round of Kids Rock the Kitchen Holiday Cooking Classes!
We have two exciting mornings planned for our budding chefs, with plenty of hands-on cooking, delicious treats, fun activities and new skills to take home.
Chocka-Block Cooking Class (Prep–Grade 5)
- Thursday 24 September
- 9:00am – 12:00pm
- 38 Anson Road, Wellington Point
Get ready for a morning that is absolutely Chocka-Block full of fun!
Budding chefs will spend the morning making three delicious chocolatey treats:
• Brownies with a twist
• Yum Yum Balls
• Triple Choc Chip Cookies
It’s not just about cooking! Along the way, children will build their kitchen confidence and independence while learning practical skills such as preparing, mixing, baking and decorating.
And once the cooking is done, the fun continues with karaoke, team-building activities, new friendships and even cleaning competitions to see who can become the ultimate kitchen clean-up crew!
It’s the perfect morning for kids to get stuck in, have a laugh, make new friends and enjoy creating something delicious from scratch.
High Tea Cooking Class (Prep–Grade 5)
- Friday 25 September
- 9:00am – 12:30pm
- 38 Anson Road, Wellington Point
A morning of cooking, creativity and a very special High Tea!
Budding chefs will learn how to prepare their very own High Tea, making three delicious favourites:
• Freshly baked scones with jam & cream
• Finger sandwiches
• Lemon crumble slice
Children will learn practical kitchen skills as they prepare, bake, assemble and present their creations.
Then comes the best part…
At 11:30am, parents are invited to join us for High Tea!
Children will have the chance to serve and enjoy the food they’ve made themselves while parents sit down for a cuppa and enjoy a special High Tea with their budding chef.
It’s a lovely opportunity for children to show off their new skills and for parents to see (and taste!) what they’ve been creating all morning.
Drop them off to cook, and come back ready for High Tea!
Both classes are designed to give children the chance to build confidence, become more independent in the kitchen, make new friends and, most importantly, have lots of fun.
Places are limited, so book early to secure your budding chef’s place these September holidays!

We can’t wait to cook up a storm with you!
Love from
Chef Lu & the KRTK Team
