A Month I’ll Never Forget: My USA Exchange Experience

This exchange program was such an amazing experience. Getting to see the American school system and immerse myself in American culture was incredible. I met so many great people — many of whom I still talk to today — and I got to see and do so much in just four weeks! One of my favourite everyday memories was simply walking through the school hallways. It might sound small, but it became something really special to me. Every day, I’d pass people I’d come to know so well. It was just a really nice feeling, being part of that environment. What surprised me most was how nice and welcoming everyone was. From the very beginning, people wanted to help me, get to know me, and make sure I had the best experience possible. It was such a great place to be. I also felt really proud to represent Redlands while I was over there. Meeting amazing people and being able to share a bit of who we are as a school was something I’ll always value — and I’m still in touch with many of them today.
