TOUCH FOOTBALL
Timothy Rae (Year 11) was in Darwin last week reffing for Queensland at the School Sport Australia National Championships for Touch Football. He enjoyed a very hot and super busy week up there, achieving some great things. He was the number 1 ranked official of the tournament. He was awarded the top Grand Final games in both age groups – 12 boys and 15 boys. And he also ran over 115km over the tournament days while officiating the matches! Tim said, “I enjoyed myself while reffing and made many new friendships with other people from around Australia. While it was also very hot, I enjoyed refereeing and further developed because of this amazing opportunity.” Congratulations, Tim on a superb campaign and these wonderful accolades! They are a testament to the dedication and the hard work you put in.
