While filming Parental Guidance in Sydney, Justin received a call from an unknown number during a short break. Despite hesitating, he answered and heard his 14-year-old daughter, Lilli, sobbing. Instead of immediately asking what was wrong, he acknowledged her emotions, saying, “You’re crying. It sounds like you’re having an awful day. I’m here if you want to talk.” This gentle approach encouraged Lilli to open up about her struggles at school camp, where she had been fat-shamed and was finding it hard to cope with her peers’ behavior.
