Holiday Ideas for everyone from Prep to Year 12 and beyond

Holidays! Hooray!

What to do……hmmmm.

So many ideas and options – click on the Spring Holidays Events and Activities link on the Library website.

Each section opens to dozens of opportunities to try something new and fun during the break. There are ideas for the youngest of our students through to adults and families.  Some activities require you to book so get in quickly. Many are free, some have a cost.

Just a few to start you thinking:

– Workshops to learn for weaving, BMX skills, fishing, skateboarding, drawing, writing, beekeeping, rock climbing, cooking and more.

– Sixteen amazing themed rooms for selfies with friends

– Lego challenges, and a lego exhibition.  Explore history’s greatest masterpieces, brought to life by LEGO® Certified Professional, and LEGO Masters Australia judge, Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught.

– Day trips to Ipswich Railway Museum, Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, South Bank, Boggo Road Jail, Nudgee Wetlands Boardwalk

– Movies in the Park

Explore each link and go down the rabbit hole of holiday adventures. Enjoy your break and stay safe!
