An education in the Arts develops the imagination and the creative and critical thinking skills of young people.  The Arts teaches essential life skills and helps foster imagination and empathy and give students an opportunity to build confidence as they connect with others.

Participating in the Arts improves mental health and wellbeing and allows students to contribute to the fullness of life, both personally and within community.

“Learning and practising art and tapping into your creativity, can make you better at whatever you do.”

Shirley M. Tilghman (Princeton University President, 2001 – 2013) Creative and Performing Arts
