Congratulations Alissa, Zebe and Jayden!

Alissa Kater

We want to congratulate Year 12 VET student, Alissa Kater, for joining the College’s Food Services team as a Hospitality Trainee. Alissa began working with the team a few weeks ago and has jumped in with her usual eager enthusiasm! She will be studying a Certificate II in Hospitality and working one day per week.

Alissa is also completing a Certificate III in Make-up off-campus, as part of the VET Program, and will be using the skills she has acquired in the upcoming College production of The Little Mermaid. Alissa’s love of all things theatrical shines through, and she continues to grab at opportunities which have included working with the Queensland Musical Theatre productions of Annie and Cats.

Alissa is definitely a busy girl and is embracing all that her senior year has to offer. Great work, Alissa!

Zebe Jay

Congratulations to Year 11 VET student, Zebe Jay, who has been offered a Childcare Traineeship with Educare on Anson. Zebe participated in work experience with Educare last year and really impressed the team with her natural gift of working with children, especially children with special needs. How wonderful! Zebe will be studying a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working every Friday at the Centre.

Zebe is also currently studying with Mater Education at Southbank, completing a Certificate II in Health Support Services, which will transition into a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance. Zebe is focused and well on her way to achieving her goals. She is loving what she is doing as part of the VET Program, and we can’t wait to see the ways God will use and grow Zebe through this journey.

Jayden Penny

A HUGE congratulations to Year 11 VET student, Jayden Penny, for being offered a school-based traineeship with the Redlands College Sports Department! Jayden completed a work trial with them where he totally impressed the team with his work ethic and energy. They did not hesitate in offering him this opportunity.

Jayden is working one to two days per week with the Sports Department while studying a Certificate III in Sports and Recreation. Fantastic work Jayden!
