Last Wednesday (26 April), students studying their Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation participated in their first open water scuba dive at the Gold Coast Seaway. Led by their instructors from Devocean Dive, they split into two groups and took turns in both diving and undertaking important theory work. Despite the rainy weather and decreased visibility, the students saw many species of fish (some were very friendly and inquisitive), as well as an eel. It was an amazing experience, and the students are looking forward to their next dive in May!
