On Monday, we welcomed YR6 students from our sister school in Japan for a day of cultural exchange and connection!
Our Yr10 Japanese class and Mrs. Grounds greeted them upon arrival, followed by a welcome speech from YR12 students, Meg and Joannah. The band and choir then treated everyone to beautiful performances of traditional Australian songs.

Students from Years 8–12 enjoyed cultural activities, with a highlight being the Chiben students’ lively performance of Paprika! Lunchtime was also a hit, thanks to the YR11 Japanese class’s delicious sausage sizzle. Face-to-face interactions bring language and culture to life—thank you to everyone who made this visit so special!
